Indian Institute of Management Amritsar successfully completed the Six-Day MDP for senior officials of IOCL under the banner of their Project SAKSHAM-Indian Oil Leadership competency development program from 30th June-4th July'22 at their IiPM (Indian oil Institute of Petroleum Management) Learning Center in Gurgaon.

The program was designed by Prof. Vartika Dutta for a mixed cohort of  33 Grade E&F officers from all the major departments of IOCL based on the comprehensive SAKSHAM competency framework and specific inputs received from IiPM. The program had comprehensive leadership development modules and other sessions on process optimization, Industry 4.0, creativity, and design thinking. Digital marketing skills, risk management, and many other pertinent topics for helping the officers to acquire an agile mindset and strategic orientation to help them take IOCL to newer heights. 

There was a mix of experiential exercises, case studies, simulations, and rich discussions to have a high level of engagement and participation from the participants.

After delivering two batches of virtual training for the officers of IOCL, this was a welcome change wherein the faculty and participants had a very rich exchange of ideas during the various sessions.

The Program received very high feedback from the participants and allowed the resource persons to experience the beautiful IiPM L&D center away from the hustle and bustle of Gurgaon.
