Dr. Arun Kumar Bairwa is working as an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar. Prior to joining IIM Amritsar, he served as an Assistant Professor at IIM Ranchi, Christ University Bangalore and the Central University of Haryana. He earned his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore. Before pursuing his PhD, he worked as an Academic Associate at IIM Indore.

His teaching portfolio includes courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, managerial economics and labour economics. His current research focuses on labour market inequalities and occupational distribution. Dr. Bairwa has published his research in reputed international journals and has presented papers in both national and international conferences.
