Dr. Ankit Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the area of Quantitative Methods & OperationsManagement at the Indian Institute of Management Amritsar. He obtained his Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. He is a mechanical engineer from the Institute of Engineering & Technology, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhyalaya Indore, and has served as a Design Engineering at Jaguar Land Rover Offshore Dedicated EngineeringCentre (JLR-ODEC), Pune. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and also has a number of conference presentations to his credit. His research interests lie in Discrete Optimization, HubLocation Problems, Supply Chain Management, and Road and Air Transportation Systems.
